Emre Yavuz releases his debut album
The winner of the 15th Kissinger Piano Olympics 2017, Emre Yavuz, published his debut album "Rachmaninoff: Klaviersonate Nr. 2, Op.36 / 10 Préludes Op.23" on the 2nd October 2020. Yavuz convinced the jury with his programm , consisting of pieces from Mozart, Scarlatti, Ramenau, Beethoven, Schubert and his favorite compser Rachmaninov.
On his new CD Yavuz chose to play Rachmaninov again to introduce himself to the audience. Particularly the special, different sound Yavuz manages to play on the Bösendorfer piano Grand 280VC, makes you want to listen. Another peculiarity on the album is the version he chose to play the sonata nr. 2. Here he plays the version from 1913.
