Due to doubling the concert on June 25th there is a change in the program
Because of doubling the date to 5 pm and 8 pm, due to the thinned out hall schedules because of corona, this change has become necessary: Igor Levit will play Ludwig van Beethoven's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 4 in G Major, Op. 58, instead of Johannes Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1. The second work on the program is by Igor Stravinsky, the suite from the ballet "Pulcinella."
Beethoven's fourth piano concerto, which is as virtuosic as it is poetic, was composed on the threshold of the Classical and Romantic eras. Both Igor Levit and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen have established a brilliant international reputation as Beethoven interpreters.
We hope for your understanding and wish you an unforgettable concert!
