Top-class concerts by the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra

With three special concert programmes, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra - well known to the Kissingen audience through their regular performances as part of the Kissinger Sommer - will be guests in the Max-Littmann Saal of the Regentenbau in November 2021 as well as in February and April of next year.

Due to the current renovation of the theatre in Schweinfurt, for the first time since the mid-1980s the top orchestra will have the opportunity to play several times a season with exclusive programmes in Bad Kissingen.
Under the direction of principal conductor Jakub Hrůša and honorary conductor Herbert Blomstedt, the orchestra presents three attractive concert evenings with the celebrated pianists Anika Vavić and Hélène Grimaud. The programmes include symphonies and piano concertos by Béla Bartók, Anton Bruckner, Franz Schubert, Rodion Shchedrin and Bedřich Smetana.
