Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonatas for piano and violin No. 1 D major op. 12/1, No. 2 A major op. 12/2 and No. 3 E flat major op. 12/3, No. 4 A minor op. 23

Frank Peter Zimmermann is one of the most important violinists of our time. Even the yellow press wrote about the moving connection the virtuoso has with his instrument, the “Lady Inchiquin” form 1711, a Stradivari which was once played by Fritz Kreisler. For the Kissinger Sommer Frank Peter Zimmermann will begin a complete Beethoven sonata cycle in 2019 which will be completed at the festival in 2020.
