Works by Erik Satie, George Gershwin, Francis Poulenc, Bill Evans, among others

The timbre of French impressionism have a great influence on early jazz. Whether it be Bill Evans or George Gershwin – time and time again there has been an overlap beetween jazz and classical music. Together with the musicians of DSO Berlin, French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet has created a late night concert covering the mingling between these musical styles, exclusively for the Kissinger Sommer.
