Songs by Joseph Haydn, Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert
Gustav Mahler: Songs of a Wayfarer
Ludwig van Beethoven: „To the distant beloved“. Song cycle based on the poems by Alois Jeitteles

„Akin to a sleep walker, as if he was not of this world, that is how Vogt puts himself into the limelight. These are the voices that give a festival its essence.“ That is how Christian Wildhagen wrote in the FAZ in 2014 about Klaus Florian Vogt's „Lohengrin“ interpretation. However, the vocalist who is renowned all over the world for his Wagner tenor singing is also familiar with song repertoire. On the behest of the Kissinger Sommer he has designed a song evening centering around Beethoven's cycle „To the distant beloved“.
