„Beloved Distance“ - the theme of the Bad Kissingen SongWorkshop 2020 is more than just a play on words. Beethoven loved to gaze into the distance and the „far reaches“ in his song cycle „To the distant beloved“ are the target of his longing … may Beethoven have been the first romanticist? In time of global refugee waves the „beloved distance“ takes on a new meaning.

1:30 PM in the Salon Fontane: Talk with the composers

The Bad Kissingen SongWorkshop is supported by the foundation „Anton und Katharina Schick“.
