The Friends Association was founded in 1992 and is now the Festival's largest sponsor.
Among the many benefits of membership are:
- You receive the festival programme as early as the end of November
- You have three weeks' advance purchase rights
- You receive a personal membership card
- You will receive a free programme before the start of the concert on presentation of your membership card
- Reception by the Friends of the Festival at a selected Festival concert
- You will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt
